Yes, you can join in on the fun, either with the 1P mode, where you go against the computer, or invite a friend and duel one another in a tug of war, in the 2P mode, where one uses the W key to pull, while the other player uses the Up arrow key.

The goal is to drunkenly pull on the rope between the two of you until the other player reaches the center or your part of the ring, and their health bar is completely depleted since that is when you have become the winner.
