From the main menu you make your choice between playing in the story mode or free play mode, and, in either case, give your best towards reaching the end of the songs, something you do by hitting notes according to the charts.

To do it, press the arrow keys at the same time as the identical arrow symbols match above the characters to the right. Make sure not to miss too many notes in a row, because if that happens, you lose and have to start again from scratch. Enjoy!
