Whether you choose to play in the story mode with full weeks, or in the free play mode just with songs, you have to reach their end by playing their notes according to the charts to win, because if you miss too many notes in a row, you lose and have to start again from scratch.

When you see the floating arrow symbols match on the top right side of the screen, that is when you need to press the identical arrow keys to hit your notes, simple as that. Missing them in a row multiple times leads to your loss, so avoid that at any cost!
