You need to do so in order to grab as many yams from the air as possible, since they help you have gas, which will make you go higher. The goal is to reach a distance as big as possible, and grab a lot of yams, if you wish to have a big score. Any power-ups that you might see in your path, grab them, since they are very helpful, but be very careful not to hit the obstacles too much, since you might fall down and lose the game.
