Use the money with the upgrade button to do so.

The forests are one of the first track you race on, and you are going to use the four arrow keys to speed up, turn left and right, as well as hit the brakes when necessary. You usually race against three other cars, you have three laps, and know that you will be timed, so try to get a quick time for each race.
