With the mouse, you are going to move the spaceship around, with it shooting automatically, so just make sure to aim it properly at all your enemies. Shoot down all the space rocks, collecting the stars that they leave behind to increase your score, and you also need to shoot the enemy space pirate ships, and taking their stars as well.

Also, be careful not to hit either the space rocks or the space pirates, because it decreases your health bar, which will mean you lose the game when it becomes empty. Keep advancing from one mission to another, shooting down anything in your path, and making a good score. Also, don't hesitate to grab power-ups and using them to your advantage.
