Start off by choosing between the Easy, Normal, and Hard levels of difficulty, and then hit 'Play' to start. Use the mouse or the four arrow keys to swipe the tiles in any of the four directions on the board, with the goal being to do it in order to merge two titles with the same animal, which in turn creates a new tile.

With each new merge, you make you level up and gain more points, and you need to figure out how to keep merging without stopping because if you can no longer make moves, that is when you lose and have to start again from scratch. That is inevitable, but good 2048 players can hold on for quite a long time.
