Superheroes have been the fascination of boys and girls all over the world for many years now, but they have become even more popular in the last decade or so, thanks to all of the blockbuster movie adaptations of your favorite heroes from comic book heroes, and no one does comic book movies at the moment than Marvel. Superheroes are some of the most iconic characters in the world, and we know how much you love them, which is why we’ve dedicated a whole category.

As you probably already know, Marvel is the name of the company that specialized in comic books. The books have come out for almost a hundred years now, with comic books have been one of the primary forms of entertainment for kids a long time. While they are not as popular as they used to be, with television and movies being more trendy at the moment, they has been very smart and adapted with the ages, so now  the movies and television shows are more popular than ever.
 

The origins and history

Obviously, this brand has started out as a comic book printing company, having had different names since its introduction in 1939. The modern era as we know and love right now has started in 1961, with The Fantastic Four being the series that has made it popular all over the United States and later in the world, and some of the comic book creators that have elevated this imprint include most notable Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and many others.

This category is not the only comic book company out there, but it is one of two major ones, with the other one being DC Comics. The two rival companies have had to rival superheroes over the years, and they are currently the leaders when it comes to comic books, with most of the comic books people read coming out from them. Of course, there had been cross-over events between the two, celebrating the artistry of comics.

After getting out, he continues to work on the suit, giving it more functions and powers, ultimately creating a superhero suit that he starts using in defeating villains of all kinds. Unlike many other heroes, people find out that Tony Stark is Iron Man, by his own admission, and this revelation started a new age of superheroes. Iron Man had been the first one recruited by Nick Fury into the Avengers Initiative, the project made by him and SHIELD that brought the world’s finest superheroes together so that when there is a big threat that one of them can’t handle, their united powers will save the day.

Peter Parker, a really smart teenage boy from New York City once gets bitten by a radioactive spider, which gives him the ability to shoot webs, makes his body more fit and strong, he can climb walls and uses his webs to sling all across the city. He dons the costume of Spider-Man, and with his newfound abilities, he saves New York City from one villain after another, such as Venom, Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, and more, all while trying to keep his real identity hidden, so that his loved ones don’t get targeted.

Captain America is another superhero of great importance, a patriotic soldier who gets injected with a super-serum that gives him extraordinary abilities and makes his body the peak of human perfection. He fought the HYDRA organization in the Second World War, and after being frozen for decades, he got brought back in our modern days. He uses a shield of Vibranium to defeat his enemies.

The Fantastic Four has been dubbed as ’The First Family’, and that is because their comic book series started the Marvel Comics series as we know today. On a mission to outer space, four astronauts got exposed to cosmic rays that give them superpowers. They are Mister Fantastic, who is not just a genius, but can stretch his body in all sorts of shapes and to great lengths, his wife Sue Reed, who goes by The Invisible Woman, because she can turn invisible, her brother, The Human Torch, because he can generate flames all over his body, and finally, The Thing, whose body is like a stone and wields immense power.
