Teen Titans Go Games

One of the most iconic shows with superheroes that had aired during the 2000s was definitely Teen Titans, with lots of children of that time having grown up on the show, has become a classic for Cartoon Network for years to come also, since it had been in re-runs for many years after the series ended, which it did with Trouble in Tokyo, a movie from 2006. Well, the new generation of Cartoon Network viewers can also experience the awesome antics of these DC superheroes, but in a whole new name, with the show called Teen Titans Go!, which had started airing in 2013, ten years after the original premiered, and it still going strong, with new episodes coming out yearly, and even a movie was released for the series.

What stands different in this new series, compared to the older one, outside of the new animation of the characters and their world, is the fact that the show is not a sequel to the other one, but a spin-off, and a comedic one. Instead of serious stories mixed in with comedic moments, this new show goes all out when it comes to comedy, with the purpose being to make children and teens watching this awesome cartoon laugh as much as possible. The original had quite a lot of serious moments, as you would expect from superheroes shows, but this one does not go that route, and it is quite light-hearted, and we think it’s great since we’re always in need of a laugh in these times!

With the show having been aired for so many years now, and its popularity being so big all over the world, we don’t think it is at all surprising, for us, or for you, that our category is currently one of the best and most popular series on our website, and a category that is visited by thousands of kids every day, who find that on our website they can find and play the collection of games, with us having had also added games based on the original series, so this should now be the go-to website for the biggest fans of DC’s Teen Titans when it comes to games!

Story and characters

In the first series, as well as in the comics, we follow the adventures of the Teen Titans, who live in Jump City, and their base is a huge tower shaped in the letter T. It is their headquarters, and it, as well as the city, is often under attack from all sorts of villains, such as Slade, Blackfire, Terra, HIVE FIVE, and many others. While in the first series we could follow the battles that the team has with these villains, and how they save the day.

We see their free days and moments when they are not being superheroes, as they are teenagers who live by themselves in a tower, which means that a lot of funny things can happen. They make all sorts of crazy jokes, they have to wash their superhero costumes, get a driver’s license, train their abilities, play video games all day, clean up the tower, and many more. All sorts of crazy stuff are going inside the tower, just like outside, and they interact with the villains quite a lot as well, and there are also cameos from classic DC characters such as Batman.

The team remains the same, and they are as fun as ever, so let’s get to know them right now and here, in case you are new to the series. The games here are all about the characters, with a lot of them focusing on just one hero at a time, so knowing them better will make for a better and more fun experience when playing these games, as you will know who the characters are and what powers they have.

Robin remains the leader of the Titans, who used to be the sidekick of Batman, but now has grown up a little bit, becoming the fierce leader of the group. He is the only one in the team without superpowers, which he moves past by using his wits, improving his body constantly through training, and in battles, he uses an arsenal of weapons and tools, similar to his mentor, Batman. He can be quite crazy at times, as well as selfish, and arrogant, and quite enough times he had been rude to others.

Starfire is not from Earth, as she is an alien princess with orange skin and green eyes, who has different abilities such as flight, incredible strength, and she can fire green energy lasers at enemies, from her eyes or hands. Personality-wise, Starfire is quite happy-go-lucky, even naive at times, and tends to be kind and polite to everyone, even to her enemies. She complicates the English language quite a lot, trying to speak more advanced than it is needed for our times, and she is really into fashion. Oh, and Robin likes her quite a lot, with no surprise at all here!

Without a doubt, Cyborg is an integral part of the Teen Titans, and his original comic book character used to be a founding member of the Justice League. He is part-human, part-robot, and his superpower consists of the different weapons and abilities that his robotic self has, which allow him to do all sorts of crazy stuff and be great in battles. He loves playing video games and has been depicted as being quite lazy, as he would rather sit around the tower instead of going out to fight, with his partner-in-crime of laziness usually being Beast Boy.

Speaking of Beast Boy, is a green-skinned young boy whose name comes from the nature of his abilities, as he has the power of transforming into different animals, using their characteristics, strengths, and abilities in battle. He can fly like a bird, have lots of power as a gorilla, or sneak around like a chameleon. He is the laziest one of the bunch, he is quite prone to making mistakes that his team members then have to fix, and this is mostly because it has been known he is the slowest of the bunch.

Raven has always been an iconic character in the series, and a beloved one, as she is quite different from the others. She has magical powers, which come from the fact that she is a half-demon, and her look reflects all of this, as she is always sporting a dark-violet cloak, the upper part of her face is in shadows, and has short hair. She is always sarcastic, can get angry quite easily, but she usually does not show her emotions, even though she has them. For example, she seems to be annoyed by Beast Boy all the time, but, that has been revealed to have been because she is a bit smitten with him.
