The Amazing World of Gumball, Darwin, their family, and friends!

The setting of the show is that of Elmore, a fictional American city in California, and while the city is explored quite a lot because Gumball is in school, Elmore Junior High is one of the main locations we see in the show quite a lot since a lot of adventure takes place in and around his middle school, which he attends together with all his siblings, as well as a cast of other zany characters. Richard, her husband, is known as the laziest man in Elmore, and all he does is sleep around, eat, and play video games. Obviously, that does not make him the best role model, but it was shown in an episode that if he were to hold a job, the universe would implode, which is why he must never work. Oh, and he is easily the dumbest in the family!

The side-characters are just as interesting, such as Carrie, a ghost living in an abandoned mansion, Tobias, who is a human-shaped cloud who is overconfident in everything he does, Banana Joe, who is a moving and talking banana regarded as the class clown, Masami, a cloud who is spoiled and rich, who always wants to have her way, or Bobert, a robot who might be the smartest student in the school but does not understand social life or emotions.
