There are going to be several types of candy on the board in front of you. You can click on candy and then click on the spot where you want to move it, and it will go there, as long as it is not blocked by other ones. Use this method to create a line of three or more identical candy, for them to be eliminated.

Try this method to clear as much candy as possible from the board and increase your score, but try very hard not to end up in a spot where you can no longer make any moves because you then lose and have to start again. You are also timed, so try to see how much you can keep playing!
