Welcome to WASDbox, a 2-player co-op game with pixel characters, puzzle-based platform levels to complete, and a focus on teamwork!
Can you get out of the WASDbox? Do it together!
Player 1 controls the pixel animal with a helmet, which can only move by walking and jumping, while Player 2 controls the pixel bat, which can fly in all directions. Together you have to push boxes around so that P1 reaches the gem at the end of each level to advance to the next one.
Along the way, try to collect all of the coins, also with Player 1. Player 2 will act as the support, the one that can push boxes around and manipulate the platforms to achieve this goal. Without both of you, escape is not possible!
There are thirty levels in this game, of increasing difficulty, with new elements added from one stage to the next. Try to finish them fast, since you are timed in each level.
Next up we will give you a quick rundown of the game's elements, which should help both players give it their best!
Avoid the dangers!
Collecting the coins and gems is your main goal, but to achieve it, you will have obstacles, dangers, monsters, and traps to be careful of. Here are some of them:
- the abyss (don't fall off from the platforms)
- the spikes (don't hit them)
- the lizards, ghosts, and other monsters (don't touch them)
Learn your colors!
- red boxes and platforms cannot be moved around;
- the blue boxes can be pushed with the bat;
- the green platforms and boxes are also static and safe to walk on;
Push towards victory!
Pushing the blue boxes around with the bat is the key to completing all of the levels. Here are examples of that:
- in the first level, you push it up with P1 standing on it to reach the gem;
- you first have to push it to the right, and then upwards, in the second level;
- for the third level you use the blue box to cover the spikes, so player one does not hit them when jumping;
- at level four, you will push the blue box down, because the gem is found on a lower platform;
- stack two blue boxes one underneath the other on level five so that you can use them to jump up;
How to play?
- PLAYER 1: WASD = move and jump
- PLAYER 2: ARROWS = fly and push
Are there any tips & tricks?
- if a key appears, get it, because you use it to remove all the boxes that are blocking your path to the gem;
