In the first mode, the classic one, you have to take the imposters and put them over the shapes of their bodies that match them, until you have sorted all of them out in the right order, with the astronauts taking different forms such as ninjas, unicorns, monsters, superheroes, and others.
In the memory mode you are shown the imposters for a few seconds, so remember where they were sitting, and then, after they are hidden, pick them up and sort them out from memory. You do the same for the hidden mode, only there you are shown the imposters after a few seconds.
