In either mode you are playing, to win you need to reach the end of the songs, and to do that you need to hit your notes according to the charts until that moment.

To do that, when you see arrow symbols match above BF's head, that is when you have to press the identical arrow keys to hit your notes.

Be quite careful not to miss hitting notes multiple times in a row, because if that happens, you lose and have to start again from scratch. Enjoy!
