From the main menu you need to choose between playing in the story mode and free play mode, and then, in either case, give your best to reach the end of the songs by playing their notes according to the charts which is how you win.

So, press the arrow keys at the same time as you see the identical arrow symbols match above the character on the right. If you miss doing it too many times in a row, you lose and have to start again from scratch. Enjoy!
