Well, you click on the screen in order to make the bird ascend, and when you leave the mouse, it will descend. The goal is to keep afloat, and at the same time, make sure to avoid bumping into the tunnels at the top and bottom of the game screen, because doing so can cost you the game. For each pair of tunnels that you get past without bumping into, you get points in return, meaning that the further you advance, the more points you are going to have by the end of the game.
