From the first menu, you will pick how many of you are playing, with each of the five players having their own key that they are going to press to move forward, and then stop pressing when they want to stay still. The keys are Q, P, Y, X, M.

You should only move when you have the green light because moving when you have the red light gets you shot, which, of course, means you lose the race then and there. Win by crossing the finish line (the red one) in the given time (one minute).
